Pennsylvania ASCD Leadership Institute & Golf Outing

Description:

The PASCD Leadership Institute will provide participants the unique opportunity to choose one of two personalized leadership tracks that develop the capacity to lead classrooms and education systems in new and innovative ways. The Courage to Lead track is based on the “The Courage to Teach” by Parker J. Palmer. In this track participants will learn how to improve professional capacity, relational trust, collaboration, quality of instruction, and ultimately student outcomes. The Digital Leadership and Innovation track allows participants to learn leadership strategies for (1) implementing instructional technology, (2) digital immersion, and (3) innovative practices. At the conclusion of the institute, there will be some online job-embedded, follow up activities that must be submitted in order to receive 40 Act 45/48 hours. Please see the leadership track descriptions at the bottom of this page for more detailed information.
